Production-Based Workshops and Classes

  • Hey, that rhymed! So you want to be a producer, and you don’t want it to turn out like The Producers. We offer 1x1 (or small group) consultations based on your needs and also believe strong foundations build strong communities! Whether you come from a theatrical, media, corporate, or totally-unrelated field, we’ll get you set up with the foundations of what it means to produce a show.

  • So you’ve learned the foundations of what it means to produce, but now it’s the day of the show? What happens next and do you get to sit back and relax? Do you even want to? How do different size venues and shows run? Maybe you don’t let the small things stress you out, or maybe you’ve had a checklist since you started - we’ll examine the role of the Stage Manager as it applies from a local, professional, and title lens.

  • This community-centric topic focuses on a discussion and just some of the safety areas every producer should adhere to when incorporating specialty acts into their shows (aerial, pole, fire, acrobatics, side show, etc.).
