Vandellous

Vandellous is a queer, nonbinary, disabled, and neurodivergent performer, emcee, producer, dramaturge, choreographer, director, voice teacher, performance educator, mental health worker, and intimacy choreographer and coordinator. Frankie supports creatives seeking to build skills, develop their practice, reclaim their autonomy, and overcome barriers to their artistic expression.
As a performer, Vandellous is a “theatrical Picasso” who specializes in butoh, burlesque, waxplay, fire-eating, and spoken word. Vandellous is known for their creative concepts and range, while connecting with audiences and taking them on a journey. Their style plays in the dramatic, comedic, ecological, site-specific, and political fields. Brooklyn

She/Her
Brooklyn has been learning cirque arts, dance, flexibility and movement arts for the past 11 years! Don’t let her youth fool you, she’s also been teaching (working as an assistant, then lead instructor for the past three years). Brooklyn’s also a lyra instructor at Vertical Joe’s and will be teaching Twerk along with flexibility and floorwork for Celestial! We’re thrilled to have her as a part of the team.
Brooklyn also trains in salsa and ballroom dance, and teaches all bodies in cirque arts. She has performed around the southeast for variety private and corporate events.

Our team first evolved when Celestial was formed in early 2021, then held its first show in November 2021. Since that time we have grown to have a regular team of go-to folks we partner with to make magic happen. Respect for not only each other, but also our community fuels our commitment to our what we do.
